From heavy-duty construction and powerful hydraulic rotation to replaceable wear components and purpose-built gripping surfaces, every detail is designed and manufactured for strength, control, serviceability, and reliable performance in the field.

The 360° continuous rotation feature allows operators to pick, position, stack, and place access mats while simultaneously fully opening and closing the grapple arms without needing to reposition the excavator frequently. This design enhances maneuverability in confined spaces and improves workflow efficiency by minimizing the time spent adjusting equipment during operations.

Powered by two VIS 40 Eaton hydraulic motors, the heavy-duty rotation system delivers the torque and control needed to maneuver large mats with precision. A robust rotate bearing and valve-in-head design provide smooth, controlled rotation for lifting, stacking, positioning, and placing mats in demanding applications.

Manufactured and designed for high-cycle mat handling, the grapple features a heavily reinforced fabricated structure designed to manage the twisting, bending, and shock loads generated during lifting, rotating, stacking, and positioning. Strategic reinforcement at high-stress areas, heavy-duty pivot points, and robust grapple arms provide the structural strength required for demanding daily operation.

The design of the grapple provides strong, consistent clamping force while maximizing contact with the mat. The opposing jaw design keeps the load captured and controlled through lifting and rotation, reducing unwanted shifting while giving the operator precise control during stacking, loading, and placement.

The grapple arms use opposing gripping surfaces designed to securely capture and control the mat under load. One side features a bolt-on replaceable edge with integrated gripping lugs, while the opposing side uses heavy-duty grapple tines with gripping lugs and replaceable tips.

This combination provides multiple points of contact with the mat, helping resist slipping and shifting during lifting, rotation, stacking, and precise placement. Replaceable high-wear components also allow the gripping surfaces to be serviced without replacing the complete grapple structure.

High-load pivot areas are designed for demanding daily operation and long service life in tough jobsite conditions.

Replaceable bolt-on cutting edges and pin-on teeth allow high-wear components to be serviced individually, helping extend grapple life, reduce repair costs and significantly reduce down time.

The hydraulic system is designed to provide responsive grapple and rotation functions for fast, controlled mat handling.
